The Funeral Service for Hady Blackburn












On a beautiful spring afternoon in Iraan, family and friends of Hazel "Hady" Blackburn gathered at the First UMC in Iraan to say their goodbyes.


Thanks to everyone who contributed to the wonderful luncheon that was served prior to the 2:00pm service.

    I am so saddened to hear of Hady's passing...

    I am a cousin thru the Parker-Blackburn connection and have the fondest and warmest memories of family reunions. I can see Hady sitting with the other women tatting and talking and laughing, her glasses down a bit on her nose... she was such a dear.
    It has been years since I've seen she or Lewis but they were never out of my thoughts or prayers.
    May we all find strength in the arms of our Lord and share our cherished memories of her as we celebrate her life....
