Joys & Concerns from July 31st Service

Joys:
+Peaceful transition for the people of the South Sudan.
+Fresh flowers in church today.
+Women's retreat coming up at First Baptist Church next weekend.
+Air conditioning (Edd & Wanda C.'s a/c went out in 105-degree weather last week; when it was fixed, they were so thankful!)
+Great fellowship before worship today.
+The Gustafson family made it safely back to Minnesota.
+The fun time Pastor Charles & Belinda had at the baseball game with the group from First UMC-McCamey.
+The "joy" of seeing buzzards, one of God's creations.

Concerns:
+Comfort for the families of Al Alexander, Russell Morris, Diana McAnnaly, and Charles Rogers.
+Comfort for the families and friends of shooting/bombing victims in Norway and the shooting victims in Grand Prairie, Texas.
+Those involved with sports activities beginning next week.
+Healing Prayers: Tommy Dale King B., Eddy C., Jonnie D., Greg H., Billie M., Kathy P., Helen R., Neil S., Eva S. (Kirke M.'s mother-in-law), Kirke's sister, Melody, Colton W.
